This was only early morning dew. Right now at 11pm it is pouring with rain: heaven only knows the condition of these poor little blossoms come the morrow!

We don't seem to be getting anywhere near as much rain as you guys. However it is our dryest month of the year so I guess I shouldn't expect too much. Actually I just looked up the averages and we have below average rain thus far this month ... maybe that's why the dam levels are starting to go backwards again.
Interesting thing with the light - the colours look totally different here.
The difference you are seeing is flash vs non-flash. The more orange is without flash. Every-so-often I wanted to use macro setting and the flash insisted on popping up.
