Yes, within the one week, they have become a totally mature flower which I suspect will last for maybe a month. I shall time it all and let you know when they start to wilt down.
Yes, they were fine with the rain and there was about 2 sessions where it was torrential. I do have then tied to the stake in about 4 spots with twine though.

Once again, the white flash light makes them appear more pink than in reality where they are definitely orange/apricot in colour.
They look like children sticking their tongues out to catch the rain. The photo's certainly look like you got a downpour.
