Tuesday morning

They are a riot now! They don't all come out together as you can see, but each individual bud turns into a fully fledged flower within not much more than 24 hours. I guess the day-times temps at the moment are averaging 17C.

They are truly wonderfull - and no more resemblance to Audrey II.

What's their size? First I compared them to tulips but the third photo seems to show much smaller buds.

Ah, now that's a challenge ... I will see if I can include my hand somehow in the photos I take this morning - although it is still pitch black outside and only an hour before I leave for work.

Going to be 15C with thunderstorms and hail this afternoon. Charming ...

I wish you a nice day in spite of thunderstorms and hail, :-)

Funny, I am thinking about going to bed ... it's black outside too, ;-)

And I am looking forward to see a buds-hand-composition tomorrow ...

You are turning these flowers into characters! The top shot is just like a kid peeping around the corner and yelling "You can't find me".

When you say it like that, Joan, I can see just what you mean! I am up close and personal and paying attention to them ... like a bloody doting parent!

But this is one of the things one.should.not.do.wrong!
As I was told in high school many times ... :-)
