Even this is not the beginning, but rather six months down the track. I built the front garden from builder's rubble. I totally reorganised the rear courtyard. I rent, and my landlord lives next door. If I could not find what I wanted in my rubble, I scrounged through Robert's.

It sort of germinated when Pierre had a sling at you about starting another blog when one is time-poor. It became obvious that Burnbrae was such a good idea as the raw material is all around you: whether the sun be rising or setting. And readers will expect each post to be of detail.
