Funnily enough I am not a massive fan of roses: they are gorgeous in structure, perfume and colour. But if any plant is a Jewish princess, it is the bloody rose! Black spot is my bete-noir at the moment. But the more I cut back and apply potash to thicken the cells, the more this one flowers.
Yep, that is a Begonia - but a fairly plebian one. It does have a lovely falling pink spray of flowers. However, I think I prefer the begonia more for it leaf variety than flower.

I adore roses. Are they begonias in the hanging pot? I am a big fan of begonias. Both roses and begonias will be coming up in my blog soon.
