Nearly home: opposite the first plot of purple ground cover; just beyond the orange Chinese lantern bush. I walk to and from work and frequenly it takes 15 minutes to walk this 100 metre stretch: the neighbours are a lovely, friendly bunch and I am a bit of a have-a-chat.

This is lovely. Hard to believe it is inner city.
The really tough reality of inner-city is when I tell you that my street ends at about the end of this photo, then you cross over a normal width street and there is the apartment where the Chinese boy and Chinese girl had to jump off the balcony to their destruction to get away from a nutter who repeatedly raped them at knife-point.
