Ripening


There could be 30 - 40 olives on the tree. The other tree has none. There are also another two figs developing.

Yes, both olives and figs. I will try to get a shot of the fig over the weekend. I was too ambitious yesterday and they were blurred.

Big changes in store for my garden over this weekend. The outdoor table goes back outdoors ...

Well, I had thought that to turn them into the edible product was beyond me, but the woman that I stayed with in Melbourne recently reckons that I could manage it. So I will wait until about half turn black and then give it a try. Takes about 3 months ...

Will go search out a reasonable looking method.

They are Italian - so it's natural, right?
I reckon the best ones are the marinated ones with oregano.
