Oh goodie, a new pic on Dolwendee. I think the nightfall shot is just lovely, your home seems so warm and welcoming. Then the daytime shot if good too because I can seen the details ... especially the kitty cat waiting at the gate. You would never believe this is a rented dwelling.
I did have another nightfall shot that showed the puttytat with me still - just out of the bottom RH of the shot I choose, sitting on the footpath facing the house. I have just had to toss her off my shoulder to type this comment: I have a white fluffy dressing-gown on which she adores!!
So sweet of you to say about the renting. I am proud of that. I treat this house as though it were mine. Not quite I guess. If it were mine, I would have the electricals redone and the pipes into the bathroom redone. There is also a dreadful leak in the front room that I am about to "paper over". Either the down pipe or the guttering needs investigating. I am going to "nappysan" the walls and then cover with an antifungal paint. I have been here nearly 3 years and this temporary measure should see me through another 3 years.

I like comparative images: day/night; old/new.
They satisfy my sense of time. I am collecting a few pairs to see if I can come up with a text/image that works.
