| People are not condemned to replicate their upbringing, to follow slavishly in the footsteps of their immediate ancestors. Behaviour wise, at any rate. There is also the option of the intelligent application of freewill. To rise above learned behaviours requires a modicum of introspection. And intelligence. And empathy. And selfless love. |

had a quick scroll through. I've missed a lot. She is a delightful child.
What a lovely photo. So much of our behaviour is learned from Mum and Dad .. I guess that is one of the joys and challenges of parenthood.
That is what parenthood is, for mine, learning that everything you do and say is absorbed by your baby, whether for the good or otherwise. Once this sinks in, the option then arises to change ones own ingrained habits, or see them replicated!
