Oops ... think I am displaying a big carbon footprint.
This is such a good home for the cats. They can sit outside all evening slaying moths and stalking cockroaches to their hearts content. Wish they could do something about the blasted cricket. And the cicadas during the midday sun. And the bats high in the tree. And the cockatoos that trash my yard. At least they keep the Noisy Minors noisy.

Your courtyard is amazing - I still remember the first photos when you moved there. I like that very much. Looks so inviting.
Well doesn't that look so cosy and welcoming. Fabulous work on night shooting too. Did you set up a light especially to illuminate the umbrella canopy?
Nope, nothing specially changed. that major light is a desk lamp sitting beside my computer, exactly where I am now. Where the lime green plant is in the light (nodding violet) is where I have the window open for the cats.
It looks homely and cosy but too nice for cats.Great shot.
You've made it your own, haven't you? (Understand about the cockatoos. The parrots are decimating my camphor tree. I'll have 50 of the buggers up there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.)
Indeed, AH. The cockies are up there right now (7am) screeching and dropping quite large twigs. Add that to the seeds/berries dropped naturally by the tree, and the courtyard and adjacent road is awash with vegetation debris. Makes for fun listening to the cars losing traction as they take the corner!
So ... what do you think I should do with the ladder? What would YOU(SE) do with the ladder? It is surplus to requirements, having all I need inside for hanging space.
Mmm ... but things will change next weekend, when I can put the courtyard table back outside and stick the umbrella through its rightful hole. Then the ladder will become the focal point for this little corner.
Mmmm ...
Just let it stand there and call it "art"? Not kidding, I like the structure against the wall in its simplicity. On the photos at last.
Yes, I like it too. Dont really want to change its angle which would need to be done to actually hang anything from it. This outside one wont be painted. Painting the inside ladders is the next project after I finish staining the little wooden table I picked up for a song.
I'm inclined to agree, just let the ladder be ... it's more difficult to hang things from a ladder outside.
